I have been a lampshade maker/ designer for almost 2 decades. I have a funky little design studio/shop in our rural village of Pawlet, Vermont. I usually look forward to heading 1 1/2 miles down to the village to my little shop. I use wonderful vintage fabrics, old embroideries, vintage chenille, vintage postcards, anything unusual! Everything I look at, I think, "maybe that would make a great shade." Decorative Lampshades can make a design statement, add great atmosphere and warmth to your room. At last lampshades have become an important design element!

You have no idea how BAD I need lampshades? I would love to shop in your store! I like the white shade you are showing in this post~ could you tell me the price? thanks Tina, sounds like you might like my shop!!! Come on up when it warms up or for a ski.The scallop shade with the white on white embroidery is $75 plus 8 shipping. I don't do to much with ruffles, just not a ruffle girl! But do have a cute trim found at Flights of Fancy with a small little pleat, comes in a soft yellow or lilac.Feel free to call the shop. 802-325-6308.
